News feeds are a good way to keep up with new content on Web sites. New content finds you, rather than you having to find it. Some email programs will subscribe to news feeds, but your email inbox is probably cluttered enough. Many people find it more convenient to separate email from listings of new Web content.
I recommend Google Reader. If you have a Gmail account, you already have access to Google reader. Here's the link to your reader:

Click on the Add Subscription button:

Paste the URL for the news feed. For the homes-for-sale feed, it's...
http://ouneighborhood.org/homes-for-sale

Click the Add button. Each time you open Google Reader, you will see new home listings.
If you don't want to use a news reader, you can also get announcements via email. Here's how.
Go to a news-to-mail Web site, like http://www.feedmyinbox.com/ (it's just one of many services). Here's a screen shot from feedmyinbox:

Put http://ouneighborhood.org/homes-for-sale into the top field, and your email address into the bottom field.
